CtxMenu.dll - Windows Explorer has encountered a problem |
I had been suffering for months with "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem ....." but could not find the cause, nor could I relate this to any particular action.
On the first scan with ShellExView I found one extension with no Company name against it - CtxMenu. I disabled this and 'hey presto' my problem has gone away. I have no idea which program has installed this module but I certainly have not lost any functionality in any of the software that I use.
Thank you for making this very useful utility availabe.
